Omnia Training Appointed to Deliver £2 Billion British Army Collective Training Transformation Programme
LONDON, UK, 10 July 2026 – Omnia Training has been awarded a £2 billion contract by the UK Ministry of Defence to act as the British Army’s Strategic Training Partner and deliver the Army’s Collective Training Service (ACTS), a major long-term programme designed to modernise collective training and strengthen operational preparedness for future conflict.
The Omnia consortium, comprising Capita, Cervus, Raytheon, Rheinmetall UK and Skyral, will deliver ACTS in partnership with the British Army. Spanning 15 years, the programme will provide an integrated, technology-enabled collective training capability that will transform how soldiers train, prepare and adapt for evolving operational environments, with the flexibility to deliver training whenever and wherever it is required.
“The award of the ACTS contract to OMNIA Training marks a defining moment for Army training and for the role of UK industry in shaping it. For Cervus, it’s the culmination of years of hard work, innovation and belief in the power of data to transform training. This opportunity allows us to bring the very best of our analytical capability, user-focused design and international defence training experience into a national endeavour that will modernise Army training and drive Operational Readiness for years to come. We are incredibly proud to be one of the five OMNIA Training partners and we are deeply committed to delivering on the trust placed in us.” said Gareth Vaughan, Managing Director of Cervus
ACTS will enhance the British Army’s operational readiness through the deployment of next-generation synthetic technologies, advanced analytics and modern training platforms. Delivered through UK technology and supported by a broad network of UK-based partners and suppliers, the programme will provide realistic, integrated, immersive and adversarial collective training to help prepare soldiers for the demands of contemporary and future warfighting.
The contract award is expected to create 270 jobs and sustain a further 150 roles across the UK.
