We are proud to announce the arrival of Martin Grindley, our newly appointed Senior Data Engineer.
Since advertising for this position back in August, we’ve invested a lot of time trying to find a candidate with the right blend of skills, experience and values to drive our product development and analytics services forwards. Whilst this has taken longer than we initially hoped but we are now delighted to introduce you to Martin, our new Senior Data Engineer.
Martin studied Maths and Physics at the University of Warwick and now has over 30 years’ experience of working with data. He has developed and led testing teams during major transformational projects for international companies including IBM and Sky and most recently, Martin was the Head of Data and Data Engineering at Polecat where he worked for seven years.

We are delighted to have been able to attract talent with experience from other business sectors into our team, particularly where data engineering is advancing at such a rapid rate; Martin has vast experience around big data pipelines, architecture and design and implementation and we’re excited to see how his experience blends with the work we’re doing to advance our insight technology for the front line.
Martin said:
My first impressions of Cervus were excellent – having researched the website, I was surprised at the business’ international reach and breadth of projects undertaken with different customers. I’m really looking forward to bringing my experience into the business and seeing where we can develop Hive and it’s components together into the future.
We even managed to get Martin conducting a Section attack in DVS during some VRLT2 testing.
